Acceptance

By accessing or using Forge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this application.

Beta Service & Permitted Use

Forge is a beta product operated by Stoudt Labs and made available to the public for personal, non-commercial use as an educational paper-trading simulation. You may use Forge to run simulated portfolios, review AI agent outputs, and explore scenarios.

Unauthorized redistribution, resale, scraping, or commercial repackaging of this application, its outputs, or its data is prohibited. Because Forge is in beta, features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

Eligibility & Age

You must be at least 18 years old to use Forge. In jurisdictions that permit it, users aged 13 or older may use Forge only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you are under the required age, you must not use this application.

Paper Trading Only

All portfolio activity within Forge is entirely simulated. No real money is involved, no real trades are executed, and no connection is made to any brokerage account or financial institution. Portfolio values, returns, and agent decisions exist solely within the simulation environment.

Autonomous Agent Behavior

Forge runs autonomous AI agents on a scheduled cadence. By using Forge you acknowledge and consent to the following:

Scheduled execution. Agents evaluate your portfolio on a cron schedule (currently four times per weekday at 14:00, 17:00, 20:00, and 23:00 UTC, plus daily intelligence and weekly meta-cycle runs). This schedule may change without notice.

No per-decision confirmation. Agents may execute simulated paper trades automatically without prompting you for approval on each individual decision. All trades are paper-only and affect only your simulated portfolio.

Kill switch. A global kill switch exists via the AUTONOMOUS_TRADING_ENABLED environment variable. When set to anything other than true, all autonomous agent cycles are halted server-side. You may request that autonomous behavior be disabled for your session by contacting support.

No human review. Recommendations and trade decisions are generated by large-language-model agents without human review before execution. Outputs may be incorrect, biased, or unsuitable for any particular purpose.

No Financial Advice

AI agent recommendations generated by Forge are for educational simulation purposes only. Nothing in this application constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

Past simulated performance does not guarantee, predict, or imply future real-world investment results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making real investment decisions.

Third-Party Data

Forge consumes market data from Yahoo Finance (via the yahoo-finance2 npm package) and news data from NewsAPI. Your use of Forge is also subject to those providers' terms of service. Market data may be delayed and should not be relied on for trading decisions. See the Privacy Policy for full disclosures.

No Warranty

Forge is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms of Service, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your use of Forge, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that the exclusive venue and jurisdiction for any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, USA, and you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.
